Giving back: Mohinidevi Madanlal Samdani Charitable Trust
Extending the legacy and vision of Late Shri. Madanlalji Samdani, his sons established the Trust in 1990. Its mission is to help people, with special focus on education, health, culture and the environment: the building blocks of a healthy and vibrant social structure.
1918 to 1973
Late Shri. Madanlalji Samdani
Regarded as a doyen of the textile trade, he was the main pillar of the family's business, and a righteous and benevolent man. He had immense belief in human potential, and in contributing to the community he lived and worked in.
With his brothers, he set up a college, a dharamshala and a gaushala at his native place, Manasa in Madhya Pradesh. His passion for education shows in the college: he helped establish it in a town where none existed before.
That yearning for learning, spiritual growth and community service has passed to his family, and the Trust carries it forward.
